The Shark Tank Repeatedly Attacks Ozzie deFaria for having been arrested back in 2005 for “Domestic Violence.” You’ve probably seen the picture above. What the Shark Tank doesn’t tell you is that the charges were dropped. As in dismissed. As in thrown out. So we updated the photo with the byline “and the case was dismissed.” You’d think that Javier Manjarres, who writes the Shark Tank, and who has a criminal record of his own, would understand the criminal process more than most people and would appreciate the phrase “innocent until proven guilty.” After all, Manjarres himself pled guilty to Burglary with Assault back in 1995 in what was a domestic violence matter where he got in a fight with another man over a woman. But alas, Manjarres is working hard to support his candidate Karen Harrington in a Republican primary.
To be sure, Mr. deFaria, according to the arrest record, seems to have gotten in a scuffle with his then-wife’s boyfriend at the time. It’s the boyfriend – and not the ex-wife, that filed the affidavit that was the basis for the arrest. In the larger scheme of things, an objective observer may think that it’s not very surprising that a husband might get in an altercation with his wife’s boyfriend. (How shocking!) But once again, that’s besides the point…the case was thrown out.
Once again, innocent until proven guilty. The case was thrown out, so Mr. deFaria has no criminal record for this charge. Of course the Shark Tank wants to make you think otherwise.
The Shark Tank has constantly attacked the opponents of his preferred candidate, Karen Harrington. The main attacks have been on Ozzie deFaria, whom we are guessing Harrington perceives as her main threat. We at FCN don’t have a horse in this race – it’s unlikely anyone of these Republican candidates will beat Debbie Wasserman Schultz. Debbie Wasserman Schultz’s (DWS’s) current CD20 district comes in at a D+13 according to the non-partisan Cook Index, making it an extremely Democratic district, and the new district is similar…presenting what would be a more than 95% chance that DWS wins reelection. But we feel the need to speak out on the issue because many casual observers probably won’t understand why the Shark Tank continues to attack deFaria on a regular basis.
For the uninitiated, Saul Alinsky is the liberal radical community organizer who wrote “Rules for Radicals.” According to Alinsky, the main job of the organizer is to bait an opponent into reacting.
RULE 12 is instructive with regards to the Shark Tank’s attacks on Republicans in primaries: “Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it.” Cut off the support network and isolate the target from sympathy. Go after people and not institutions; people hurt faster than institutions. (This is cruel, but very effective. Direct, personalized criticism and ridicule works.)” [courtesy Wikipedia].
Alinsky is alive and well with Manjarres. He’ll smear and attack those that don’t pay him in Republican primaries. He’ll avoid the facts. It’s what he does. It will continue until candidates stop paying him. And we will continue to uncover the truth so long as the Shark Tank ignores it.

You don’t have to be anything more than a normal patriotic American to listen to Ozzie and know the man is not what he portrays himself to be. Screw the GOP this is America we are fighting for. If there is a bad candidate…call him out , no matter what party. Javier is not running for congress. Listening to defaria is like listening to Obama..all smoke and mirrors. Where is the passion? I am sick of liars.
The only liars are Javier and Harrington.

We have proven plenty with the article we wrote, and commented where appropriate. If you want to harp for days on half-truths and innuendo, then that’s your calling in life. We hear Shark Tank is looking for some writers that are good at half-truths, innuendo, lies, and muckracking. Perhaps you should apply.
I know that Mr. deFaria has made his fair share of lies.
1. Karen has 10 credit cards. False. She has one personal card and one for campaign purposes.
2. She has $190k in debt. False. This is money that she has saved and invested into her campaign. Ozzie invest $273k. I don’t consider that debt.
3. She is the VP of a gay activist group. False. Mr. deFaria used a photo of her a a gay friends wedding reception (not even the wedding. She didn’t attend). This accusation was just completely wrong.
If you really want me to, I’ll expand on this list, but I think you get the point.

This web site is no different than what you are accusing shark tanks as being. As a person who loves this country and has discernment.. I think the man is a creep. You can’t tell me anything else. That’s my opinion from seeing him several times. Nothing to do with anything else. He fabricates, has anger issues and would bethe sort of politician I would never support. So take it as that . What is this poor confused lady saying Javier’s partner in crime Patrick Costronova?! Castronova is a field director with Karen who has absolutely nothing to to with Mr. Manjarres. I agree that this “diva” appears to be a major conservative, it just stinks that she has to be so confused.
No surprises here. Javier Manjarres is simply an attack dog for whoever pays him. You pay him: he loves you and writes all this nice stuff. You don’t pay him: he attacks you and smears you, your volunteers, your family, etc. He’s a bottom feeder. Everyone knows it. Just follow the money, as the old saying goes.
If you believe this, then you must be lacking some information. Javier writes positively about Karen because he likes her the most over her opponents. He write negatively about Ozzie deFaria because he is constantly catching him in lies. If you have a problem with this, then you should work to get the 1st amendment repealed.
I saw a disgusting incident last night at a candidate forum. Harrington’s supporters out mug shots of Ozzie Defaria in every car’s door handle while the candidates were inside the event. There was no disclaimer. Manjarres from the Shark Tank then went outside to confront Ozzie – I’m sure there will be some type of video forthcoming from him. Harrington’s people are really low-lifes.
I would like to commend the people that helped with this act from the Harrington campaign. Just if you didn’t know, this was done the day after a negative mailer from Ozzie about Karen went out. I think you should reconsider what you said and start thinking about the real low lifes.

There is a long tradition of anonymous writings – Allahpundit, the Federalist papers, etc. – because the truth needs no authorship. Check your facts.
PS.. Ozzie’s former wife Admitted on the taped speach , that she WAS a victim of DV.. She swore out complaints, etc. She admitted to “unfortunate incidences” I will say agin, she is luky she is alive. Women are killed all over this country , everyday.. There is no sugar coating domestic violence , and no victory because the victim changed her mind about prosecution

Sorry “Broward”, I completely support you, but I think you misunderstood some facts. The dv was against his ex-wife’s boyfriend, not her.
While he was not taken to trial, he was charged. Often in DV cases, the woman involved does not want to testify .. It does not excuse the violence . you cannot coat over this serious problem.
Second, I strongly disagree to Ozzie being a job creator.. His method of business outside of ATT , has been one of what is called asset spinning .. that doesnt create jobs .. Like with his Harvard experience, he spins it to be more than it is

That’s ridiculous what you are all saying about Javier Manjarres. As another political blogger, I can identify it as the sour grapes one person said it was. Let me remind you that freedom of the press goes both ways. You are guaranteed freedom no matter who you support or don’t support. I can tell you without a doubt that it matters NOT A WHIP who advertises on my site. That’s not why we do what we do because he could get paid a LOT more working on campaigns. But if you don’t like what someone writes, it’s easier to say that they are paid for than to say you disagree with them. Who pays you guys?

Just to let you know there’s a difference between a criminal record and an arrest record. You get an arrest the second you walk through a jail door in hand cuffs.
We are also guaranteed the freedom to expose Mr. Manjarres for the political operative that he really is. There is a mountain of evidence that Javier advocates for those that have/are paying him for “advertising” on his site. It is why he blogs…it’s what he does for a living. No one pays us at FCN – there aren’t any ads on our site. If you read our articles you can see that we write stories based on facts, not conjecture like Mr. Manjarres. We back up our facts with evidence. Our article here points out the truth that Mr. Manjarres fails to mention (unless he goes back and edits all of his articles right now) that Mr. deFaria was not charged with domestic violence and the case was thrown out. It’s amazing that you are so offended by us pointing out this fact.
There is absolutely no proof what so ever that Javier is paid. He is allowed to support who ever he wants.

3. $190,000 more of debt – False – This is money she invested into her own campaign. If it make you fell better, OD did the same thing but with $273k.
deFaria is our best chance to defeat debbie. He has the private sector experience that none of the other candidate possess. Joe seems like a nice guy, but he doesn’t have nearly the same amount of experience.
Karen has been in small business all her life. She came into the 2010 election late and still got 40% of the votes. You obviously have a little bit more studying to do.
Don’t know this Javier, but it sounds like sour grapes to me. Wasn’t he named CPAC Blogger of the Year? You have to be pretty conservative to get that. He gets bashed if he doesn’t support every candidate in every race. He has a right to pick his favorite candidate. I’ve sure seen enough mud-slinging against him and the candidates he supports to last me a life time.

Ozzie has done much more mudslinging. Javier has worked to protect the name of the candidate he supports. While doing this, he is getting back at deFaria. Javier is a great blogger and he’s been recognized for it.
To defeat Debbie Wasserman Schultz we need the most electable candidate and that candidate is Juan Eliel Garcia.

Javier fools people into thinking he is conservative by stalking Allen West and Marco Rubio wherever they go and doing stories about how some liberal says this or that about them. He’s just a profiteer – only interested in charging candidates for advertising on his blog. If you advertise, you get good coverage. If your opponent in a Republican primary advertises, you get slammed. If you both advertise, it depends on who pays more. It’s an extortion racket. At least this Ozzie guy, who I don’t even know, has the balls to take on Shark boy.
Javier was actually first approached by Marco before he was even elected. As for Allen west, who cares if he approached him? He is an award winning blogger. I can say that I personally as a 15 year old have approached both Marco Rubio and Allen West.
