Mitt Romney is winning the contribution race in the state of Florida.  According to data provided by www.opensecrets.org, and based on Federal Election Commission data released electronically on Thursday, June 21, 2012, Romney has raised almost $10 million from Floridians compared to Obama’s $6.3 million.  Even more interesting are the metro area breakdowns, though…which you can check out below.  Jacksonville and Naples have been especially kind to Romney, while Obama is winning the money race in Orlando and Miami.

    You should mention that the numbers for Romney are somewhat lower because he had to go through the primary. That would likely explain Obama beating him in some of the more conservative parts of the state.
